Girard-Perregaux and the Menuhin Festival Gstaad To honour the closeness between classical music and haute horlogerie -two ancestral arts still instilling an incomparable emotion-, Girard-Perregaux is associated to of one of the most unusual and prestigious musical event in Europe: the Menuhin Festival Gstaad. Like the fine play of a virtuoso, the “Haute Horlogerie”, through its creations, arouses the same pleasure, rare and precious at the same time, born from the most developed expression of passion, beauty and perfection in craftsmanship. Like the artists combining musical precision with their personal sensitivity, Girard-Perregaux combines a know-how inherited from over two centuries of tradition to a modern vision. By perpetuating the creation of its founder, the legendary violin player Yehudi Menuhin, the Festival presents concerts given by internationally renowned artists. To celebrate its partnership with the Festival the authentic Manufacture has created a special edition of ten watches: the ww.tc – Menuhin Festival. With its 24 time zone display, and adorned with an engraved case-back bearing the logo of the musical event, it reflects both watchmaking tradition and its most modern outlook. Dedicated to the wrists of passionate connoisseurs and incorporating a link between past and present, it embodies Girard-Perregaux’s identity and all its affinities with the Festival.
