In 2005, the Manufacture instated a partnership with the Centre interrégional de formation des montagnes neuchâteloises (CIFOM), an institution providing training characterised by their professionalism and closely attuned to corporate needs.

Girard-Perregaux naturally wished to support these endeavours and opted to do so through a high-level competition. On May 15th 2018, three new students were rewarded by the Manufacture for the excellence of their achievements.

The jury changes each year and was composed of experts from the Manufacture in charge of areas such as logistics, production, industrialisation, technical support, customer service and R&D, along with the CIFOM watchmaking teachers. It gives its verdict on five criteria: the idea, the overall presentation of the project, the presentation of the dossier itself, the production method, and the student’s conclusion.

First Prize went to Rémy Perez Burgos, Second Prize to Sandy Vouga and Third Prize to Japhet Nzuzi Kavuakanda. Congats to all of you !
