Blending aesthetics and functionality
First launched in 1975, the Laureato is a gem of sporty elegance. With its sleek lines and easy wearability in an integrated bracelet, the Laureato blends aesthetics and functionality as only Girard-Perregaux can do. In 2019, we launched the Absolute expression of the Laureato. Absolute because of its uncompromising features, the bold design is Laureato at its sportiest and most contemporary. From bold architectural steel and super-light high-tech titanium to the elegant classicism of pink gold and the radiant sparkle of brilliant-cut diamonds, the Laureato collection offers a fascinating material spectrum with universal appeal.
Octagonal identity
Designed and hand crafted in our Manufacture, the raised octagonal bezel was the commanding feature of the first Laureato. It was fitted with a slim, ultra-precise quartz movement – yet another feat in watchmaking that Girard-Perregaux pioneered in the 1970s. With its sleek lines, easy wearability, integrated case and bracelet, the Laureato blends aesthetics and functionality as only Girard-Perregaux can do. The steel bracelet is perfectly fitted to the case with the finely engraved hobnail lines of Clous de Paris on the dial for classic appeal.
The choice is yours
Originally, the Laureato was fitted with a slim, ultra-precise quartz movement – yet another feat in watchmaking that Girard-Perregaux pioneered in the 1970s. Today, the collection includes, amongst others, skeleton time pieces and chronographs with a vast array of sizes, materials and colours.
