THE ART OF MOVEMENT SINCE 1791
The Maison’s pioneering spirit laid the foundations for a brand that would go on to redefine Haute Horlogerie.
From the outset, Girard-Perregaux has combined technical mastery with a deep and unwavering pursuit of beauty. Constant Girard’s iconic Tourbillon with Three Bridges, created in 1867, transformed functional components into architectural masterpieces, serving as a bold affirmation that form and function are not mutually exclusive.
From that moment, Girard-Perregaux has consistently distinguished itself through its multifaceted expertise; creating strong and architectural visual signatures and leading the path in horological innovation.
A true Manufacture of movement
SETTING A NEW STANDARD IN HAUTE HORLOGERIE MOVEMENT
In the history of Swiss watchmaking, few maisons can claim, with as much legitimacy as Girard-Perregaux, the dual expertise of not only crafting exceptional timepieces, but also designing and producing the movements that power them. Within our Manufacture, the creation of movements transcends engineering. It is the fusion of philosophy, design, and heritage since its founding in 1791.
GP4800 Caliber
The new Calibre GP4800 integrates a host of advanced features aimed at enhancing reliability, chronometry, and long-term durability. With a compact 25.60 mm diameter and 4.28 mm thickness, it features a silicium escapement, stop-seconds function, and a variable-inertia balance regulated via four white gold screws.

GP01800 Skeleton Caliber
This movement, derived from the famous GP01800 caliber is treated using either a galvanic process (anthracite gray ruthenium) or black PVD. During this journey of discovery into the heart of a mechanical labyrinth comprising 173 components, including 25 jewels, the eyes come to rest on the sweep seconds at 10 o’clock carried by the seconds wheel. They are then in turn captivated by the quick oscillations of the regulating organ featuring a large variable inertia balance pulsating at 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour).
GP01800 Caliber
Entirely designed, produced, assembled, and adjusted in-house, the Calibre GP01800 epitomizes the Manufacture’s expertise. This self-winding movement, a true flagship of the Maison, is distinguished by its traditional and meticulous finishes. The main plate is adorned with circular graining, while various components feature bevelling, mirror-polishing, satin-finishing, snailing, sunray finishing, and intricate engravings. The bridges are embellished with straight Côtes de Genève, and the oscillating weight is available in either gold or rhodium-plated steel, both decorated with circular Côtes de Genève. Rich in detail and refinement, this calibre offers a power reserve of at least 54 hours.

GP03300 Caliber
The in-house Calibre GP03300 reflects Girard-Perregaux’s unwavering commitment to Haute Horlogerie. Comprising 237 components, this self-winding movement draws on the legacy of the iconic Calibre 3000, while embodying the Manufacture’s mastery of traditional watchmaking. The main plate and bridges are meticulously finished, showcasing no fewer than five decorative techniques: they are stretched, bevelled, engraved, circular-grained, and adorned with both circular and straight Côtes de Genève. Further embellishments include chamfering, sunray finishing, snailing, satin-finishing, mirror-polishing, and intricate engravings. Blued steel screws and gilded engravings add the final touch, offering a rich visual spectacle through the transparent case-back.
