Grand Opening of Girard-Perregaux Boutique in SKP Xi'an

In April 2022, we celebrate the grand opening of our new boutique in SKP Xi'an. Our first directly managed store in partnership with Swiss Mechanical Time Std. in Chinese Mainland. The new boutique brings our craftsmanship to the ancient capital. The milestone marks the entrance of Girard-Perregaux and our fascinating watchmaking history to a city that has been prosperous for thousands of years and with a strong legacy of aesthetic excellence.

Contemporary luxury atmosphere

As the first directly managed in partnership with Swiss Mechanical Time Std., the new boutique in SKP Xi'an demonstrates our willingness to pursue our development in the Chinese market. We have always strived to create watches that are as beautiful on the inside as on the outside. The new boutique is no different and embodies a spirit of understated luxury while incorporating modern and contemporary elements. A concept of a fantasy space with mirrors with an overall sleek black design, creates a contemporary luxury atmosphere and different daring design. The result is a new visual experience thanks to a carefully and thoughtfully layered result. Stepping into the boutique, you are greeted by a standing gold bridge, Girard-Perregaux's iconic element symbolizing the link between our long history and the infinite future as well as between state-of-the-art technologies and classic designs. In the mirrored showcases, our pieces offer an interplay of layers in space to allow guests to immerse themselves in an endless journey through time and experience our very own art of watchmaking.

Throughout our history stretching across over two centuries, we have worked to fuse the art of design precision into each of our timepieces, redefining iconic classics as our watchmakers handcraft countless masterpieces. To celebrate this year's event dedicated to the opening of SKP Xi'an, the Girard-Perregaux boutique in SKP Xi'an brings together many popular timepieces from the brand's five collections: the Bridges collection exemplifies the brand's watchmaking expertise, the Laureato collection renowned for sporty elegance, the streamlined 1966 collection, the retro Vintage 1945 collection inspired by the finest in Art Deco design, and the Cat's Eye collection, a favourite among women clients.
